Why Earn Your PMP or CAPM?
The Project Management Program is for professionals seeking to formalize their understanding of project
management concepts, as well as prepare themselves to take the Project Management Institute’s (PMI) Project
Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) exams (each administered by PMI).
Project management is both an art and a science that involves managing the competing constraints of time,
budget, scope, and quality. Through experience, project managers gain a vast array of skills, from communication
and presentation skills to negotiation, risk management, and more. In this program, students will also learn the
processes and standards for initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and successfully completing a
project from PMI’s Project Management Body of Knowledge.
